# Description Make Switch discoverable alongside Choice, support Endpoint DSL destinations, and show where each case and fallback route messages. This implements [CAMEL-25178](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25178), following the requests in [Claus's review of #27079](https://github.com/apache/camel/pull/27079#pullrequestreview-5364669021) and his [additional Jira comment](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25178?focusedCommentId=18121200&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-18121200). - Add EIP/AI index entries, Choice/Switch guidance, complete handling routes in the first sample, and a scalar Semantic selector example using `ref:department`. - Add model aliases, catalog intent/part mappings, and Switch references in the AI tool and MCP prompt descriptions. Regenerate the catalog, schema and sample resources. - Cover resource loading and round trips across XML IO, YAML IO, YAML DSL and Spring XML, including namespaces, IDs, literal strings and schema acceptance/rejection. - Add all three Endpoint DSL destination overloads, preserving builders and object-valued options through copying, JAXB dumping and runtime endpoint resolution. Include parser and runtime regressions. - Display `case[billing -> direct:billing]` and `otherwise[direct:review]`. Brief output retains the case value and omits URI query options; the fallback keeps its existing JSON type `to` and processor ID. The Spring XML test is standalone because several routes in the core `SwitchTest` use anonymous `ExpressionAdapter` selectors that cannot be represented in XML. # Validation - Focused XML/YAML/Spring, schema, catalog, MCP, parser, runtime and management checks passed (694 tests before the final review refinements). - Reran the affected model, core, console, management and Endpoint DSL tests after those refinements: 37 passed, including full/brief console output and builder preservation through copying and JAXB dumping. - Full root build passed across all 697 modules: `mvn -B -ntp -T 4 -Dmaven.build.cache.enabled=false clean install -DskipTests`. - Formatting and import sorting passed.
