davsclaus opened a new pull request, #3090:
URL: https://github.com/apache/camel-kamelets/pull/3090
_Claude Code on behalf of Claus Ibsen._
**Stacked on #3089**, which writes the Kamelets in canonical YAML DSL. Until
that one merges, this PR also shows its commit; only the last commit is new
here.
This keeps the catalog canonical. `KameletsCanonicalTest`
(camel-kamelets-catalog) loads every file of `kamelets/` with the YAML DSL and
fails when Camel logs `YAML DSL compact notation detected` for one. The failure
names the Kamelets and says how to fix them:
```
camel validate normalize --output=kamelets kamelets/<name>.kamelet.yaml
```
It runs in the CI build, `./mvnw clean install` with tests.
- **It loads the source files, not the catalog jar.** Since
apache/camel#27448 (CAMEL-25380), Camel no longer warns about YAML inside a jar.
- **New test-scope dependencies:** `camel-core-engine` and `camel-yaml-dsl`,
at `${camel.version}`, to load the Kamelets the way Camel does.
- **Checked:**
- On main's Kamelets it fails and reports 187, the compact ones.
- With #3089 it passes.
- `./mvnw verify` passes.
