Qute interprets these as template expressions, throws `RuntimeException`, and `replaceSkillsWithGates()` silently catches it — causing the gate to never replace the default SKILL.md. This affects all agents that use gate files, not just Bob. ## Fix Replace bare `{placeholder}` with either: - `<placeholder>` angle-bracket syntax (Qute ignores these) - `\{placeholder\}` backslash-escaped syntax (existing convention in some gate files) Audit all gate files under `templates/bob/gates/` and any other agent gate directories for unescaped curly braces that are not Qute variables. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
