Thanks, Claus. Follow-up JIRA for the second bug: agreed. I will propose a follow-up issue for the open question and link it here once it is filed. The question is whether to add bulk producer operations that take a List (ideally on the bulk API of the SDK, `executeBulkOperations`, rather than one request per item), or to deprecate the unused `createItems`, `upsertItems` and `getItems`. Charset of streams and files: you are right. I checked it with a file consumer and `charset=ISO-8859-1`. A JSON file with a `ΓΌ` fails with `Invalid UTF-8 start byte 0xfc`, and with `convertBodyTo(String.class)` first it is parsed correctly. The component doc now says that a `byte[]`, an `InputStream` or a file is read as bytes, in which Jackson detects JSON in UTF-8, UTF-16 or UTF-32. For JSON in another charset, it says to convert the body to a `String` first, for example with `convertBodyTo(String.class)`, which reads the file with its charset.
