Agreed, syntax is not a problem on this one. But my main worry is really more
that, to put it bluntly, our counters suck much more than people probably
realize at first glance, and I'm not convinced that multiplying their variants
helps carry the message that there is actually a relatively small amount of
proper use case for them.
