Michael Shuler resolved CASSANDRA-9589.
---------------------------------------
    Resolution: Not A Problem

Just pick one that sounds good to you :) These are general JIRA types and I
swiped these descriptions from the Apache Flume project wiki:

Wish
This is used to track general wishlist items that could eventually be
classified as new features or improvements for the product.

Improvement
This is an improvement or enhancement to an existing feature within the product.

Examples:
Wish: Create Windows MSI package for Cassandra
Improvement: Add systemd service file to Debian package for Cassandra

> Unclear difference between "Improvement" and "Wish" in JIRA
> -----------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: CASSANDRA-9589
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-9589
> Project: Cassandra
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Documentation & website, Tools
> Reporter: Jens Rantil
> Priority: Trivial
>
> The JIRA issue types "Wish" and "Improvement" sounds the same to me. Every
> time I have no idea which of them I should choose. Filing this bug to 1) get
> clarity and 2) propose either one of them is merged into the other or 3)
> rename them to make it clear why they differ.
