{{CompactTables::columnDefinitionComparator()}} has been broken since
CASSANDRA-8099 for non-super columnfamilies, if the comparator is not
{{UTF8Type}}. This results in being unable to read some pre-existing 2.x data
post upgrade (it's not lost, but becomes inaccessible).
