Status: Patch Available (was: In Progress)
I could not reproduce the problem despite the multiplexed run. There were
several compaction interrupted exceptions, but none thrown at the line that
would have caused the compaction stats to get stuck.
Nonetheless I think we should commit this patch anyway since it clearly fixes a
problem.
It is trivial and it up-merges without conflicts, so I did not run CI on 3.9
and trunk, but I can do so if required.
