Not to belabor the point, but "remember that the memtable throughput value is
the serialized size" means that if you're relying on tuning throughput alone
you'll have to drop it to ~5MB with as many CFs as you have.
(This is improved in 0.8; see memtable_total_space_in_mb option from
CASSANDRA-2006.)
