Alex Petrov commented on CASSANDRA-15652:
-----------------------------------------

[~mshuler] i have added to ubuntu keyserver:
https://keyserver.ubuntu.com/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x9e66cec6106d578d0b1eb9bff1000962b7f6840c
since this was one of the prerequisites for apache nexus to open staging. I've
tried uploading to surfnet.nl but unfortunately something seems to be broken
with javascript on their server (https://pgp.surfnet.nl/) so I couldn't upload
it there.

> Please, tell me you did not upload your secret key, as I understand is the
> default..
There was an option to encrypt locally. They did give an option to encrypt in
browser and let them store it, but I did't understand why I would like this
functionality. To answer your question, I haven't given them my private key.
Thank you for bringing this issue up.
