I must admit that I am touchy on the subject because what I learned from
working on Jamm was that we really under estimated the potential impact of the
JDK changes. My guess is that some of our dependencies had also to adapt a lot.
So as much as I would like to support more JDK versions, I believe that we have
to be realistic about it and do not only assume that because it compiles with a
JDK version people can use it with that version safely. It is for me a big
_swim at your own risk ... and by the way this area is known for its vast
variety of sharks_ .
