Ekaterina Dimitrova commented on CASSANDRA-18401:
-------------------------------------------------

As some time passed since last week and we keep on hitting issues every time we
do not immediately push an image, I pushed two test images in my dockerhub and
I am running preliminary free tier CircleCI run
[J8+J11|https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra?branch=18401-trunk]
 and
[J17|https://app.circleci.com/pipelines/github/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra/2355/workflows/5e764ad2-9ede-4684-86d1-1e2c01cc077d]
I will push the images in the late US office hours when there are less people
working. (upon successful completion of the CircleCI runs, of course)

> In CASSANDRA-18391 it was discovered that to skip some upgrade tests, the ccm
> repository first needed to be populated with older versions. While that case
> was solved, it may still be beneficial to preload the ccm repositories in the
> docker image so they don't need to be fetched at all.
