Rick Shaw commented on CASSANDRA-3140: -------------------------------------- This approach seems very "special case" with positional keywords not handled in the parser/lexer. And introducing DUAL also seems out of C* character? What happened to functions? This will not be the only need for functions in CQL. I suggest we introduce functions to the CQL syntax where terms can occur and provide a plug-in way to handle their introduction similar to the way data types are handled. > Expose server, api versions to CQL > ---------------------------------- > > Key: CASSANDRA-3140 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-3140 > Project: Cassandra > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Jonathan Ellis > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 1.0.1 > > Attachments: 3140-patch.diff > > > Need to expose the CQL api version; might as well include the server version > while we're at it. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
