Brad Schoening commented on CASSANDRA-19242: -------------------------------------------- I'm not sure the history either, but CQLSH got far ahead. Since CQLSH hasn't isn't changed much, I've been bumping the minor release. This would allow us to eventually converge, perhaps. * 4.0.0 Cassandra -> 6.0.0 CQLSH * 4.1.0 Cassandra -> 6.1.0 CQLSH * 5.0 Cassandra -> 6.2.0 CQLSH * 5.1 Cassandra -> 6.3.0 CQLSH (proposed) Note that the PyPi distribution of [CQLSH|https://pypi.org/project/cqlsh/] (which Jeff Widman and I manage) aligns on the major/minor versions and sometimes uses patch versions for bugs or tweaks to packaging. > Update cqlsh version in 5.x > --------------------------- > > Key: CASSANDRA-19242 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-19242 > Project: Cassandra > Issue Type: Task > Components: CQL/Interpreter > Reporter: Brad Schoening > Assignee: Brad Schoening > Priority: Normal > Fix For: 5.1 > > Time Spent: 10m > Remaining Estimate: 0h > > The cqlsh in version 5.0 is 6.2.0, so the version should be incremented on > trunk (5.1) to 6.3.0. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@cassandra.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@cassandra.apache.org
