If there's a single thing to take from my review above, it's that we need a
version of {{MultiNodeTableWalkWithoutReadRepairTest}} with mutation tracking
enabled and at least a few thousand clean seeds. We should still discuss the
potential issues around the filtering logic (where we do strict vs. non-strict,
etc.), but that fuzz test should backstop the discussion.
