When we create the parquet file it is uncompressed and v2 format; this blows up the size a ton! V1 format wouldn’t compress our long timestamps well where as v2 drastically shrinks them In one benchmark I ran before the change the parquet file was 1g, after the change it was .3g. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
