Jonathan Ellis resolved CASSANDRA-3987.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

If you delete a row at time X and want to re-insert it, you need to use time >

> Cannot reuse row key after deletion.

> Key: CASSANDRA-3987
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-3987
> Project: Cassandra
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: API
> Affects Versions: 1.0.8
> Environment: Mac OSX
> Reporter: Kristoffer Carlson
> Priority: Minor
>
> If a row with columns is inserted using key "A" and then the same key "A" is
> deleted, the key "A" cannot be used again.
> This only happens through the Thrift interface. It does work, however,
> through the cli.
> The writes were done using a batch_mutate.
