Benedict commented on CASSANDRA-6634: ------------------------------------- I don't see why it's a problem. It's not pretty, but it is more useful. I don't want to find/replace when I want to find out why equality is failing, and that class has a monstrous number of fields. I spent a long time staring at it, saying, it's definitely equal. And it was, as far as you would practically be able to determine with your eyes. Checking the ObjectID of every item isn't something you want (or expect) to do. > UTMetaData is missing equals() definition on trunk, breaking KSMetaData and > CFMetaData equality > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: CASSANDRA-6634 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6634 > Project: Cassandra > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Benedict > Attachments: utmetadata.patch > > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.1.5#6160)
