I think Jonathan means it will be superceded, even though it supports it (which
it certainly does).
Personally I think the current stress will remain useful even with
CASSANDRA-6146, as it provides a much simpler and uniform way to quickly setup
and stress-test clusters, and is more easily distributed and run by command
line. It also offers some functionality that would be comparatively difficult
to implement using JMeter.
But I am biased :-)
