AMIT KUMAR commented on CASSANDRA-7838:
---------------------------------------

I have committed support for ulimit based checks along with swap check on my
github fork. I will revisit the disk latency/queue length -I have not been able
to get disk queue length and other disk IO properties for networked disks using
SIGAR. I have not looked at the c code to understand why, that's the next step.

> Warn user when disks are network/ebs mounted

> platforms.

> It would be nice on start-up to use this to warn users if they are running
> with settings that will make them sad, like Network drive or EBS on Ec2.
