@SadiJr a [LL] Jenkins job has been kicked to build packages. It will be
bundled with
@rohityadavcloud my tests are executed in the following env:
* Management and usage server host distros: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LT, kernel
5.4.0-137-generic
* Hypervisors:
- KVM: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, kernel 5.4.0-149-generic;
- VMware:
- Hosts ESXi: 6.5.0 Update 3 (Build 14320405) <image here>;
- vCenter: vSphere Client version 6.5.0.41000 <image here>
* Tested primary storages: Tested primary storages: local storages and
shared storage via NFS at cluster level in both KVM and VMware.
* Veeam: Build 11.0.1.1261 P20211211 Enterprise Plus Edition <image here>
* Versions tested:
- 4.16.0.0 upgrading to 4.18.0.0, using this PR -> working fine
- 4.18.0.0 (from main) and then installing the packages from this PR ->
working fine
* Performed operations:
- Basic VM operations:
- create, stop, start, destroy, migrate, make snapshot and
backup (VMWare only), all resulting in sucess, plus I made this same tests in
the local primary storage and in the shared primary local storage;
* Basic network operations:
- creation, deletion, applying firewall rules, all working fine.
* Basic backup operations (VMware only):
- Create backups (manual or scheduled), restore the entire VM
or only one volume, all working fine
When doing all these operations, I checked the logs, and it as all ok too.
@rohityadavcloud please let me know if there is something missing. The only
point I cannot share with you is the license keys from VMware and Veeam :)
SystemVM template(s). I'll keep you posted as I make progress.
