Hm I wouldn’t agree, and I love k8s. I think k8s is an option for containers but not the industry standard. For example, ECS at aws is one the most used features/products. Containerization is also helping a lot of organizations move off hyperscaler clouds to their own infra (see 37signals story and the development of kamal).
