For example with API 28 it found files here: file:///storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.sil.teachmewords/files/ and also under the plugin folders: /www/plugins/cordova-plugin-zip/ /www/plugins/cordova-plugin-file/www/browser/ but none under any of the folders that are not related to the app, e.g. /Download
