We are talking about a web browser and HTML specs do not require a top container. My app does not have one and I don't like to have to add one in order to make this work **specifically** on iPhoneX. It is more like a hack (think IE5, 1999) and this is why people keep coming to this thread to find a solution to a non standard problem.
