Verified the specified commit (commit 96707f373276856ff14065a202a0f11630120e60)
is included in the latest pull from the daffodil repository.
Verified changes identified in commit comment were implemented, java 16 has
been removed and java 17 added to the list of versions supported.
Verified all daffodil subproject sbt test suites execute successfully with java
17, with the exception of the daffodil-runtime2 tests identified/addressed in
JIRA ticket DAFFODIL-2566.
Verified the nightly test schemas compile and save successfully with java 17.
Verified the nightly test suite executes successfully with java 17.
