Description:
The (superceded, older) proposal for enumerations and typeValueCalc is here:

There are comments on this wiki page about ways it can/should be simplified
before we really start exploiting it in generated schemas that make extensive
use of enums.
The mechanism should be revised so that far simpler expression of enums can be
achieved that avoids the need for complex types.
