Building .NET clients with Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com/)
makes them available to Windows, Linux and MacOS. Not just Windows. Plus it's
free and has a smaller footprint than traditional VS.
This should lower the barrier to build and use the .NET clients compared to
Java or JavaScript.
