Is it possible to release DeviceMap Data (1.0.4) only or in addition to Maven
as an "exploded archive" aka XML files in a folder?
Several projects do have plain text files (other than README) in their distros,
http://apache.org/dist/vcl/2.4.2/ contains (signed) .SH files
http://apache.org/dist/karaf/documentation/ contains HTML and PDF (not even
signed)
http://apache.org/dist/sling/eclipse/ (could be a P2 repo) consists of entirely
unsigned XML files.
So not every project puts all download files into an archive, thus it should be
possible to do so with DeviceMap data to allow "URL" access from that location
(if others are gone)
