# Proposed changes Issue Number: close #xxx ## Problem summary Recently, it has been noticed that mmap()+munmap() takes more time than jemalloc in performance testing, so the mmap threshold can be configured and increased to 128M by default. This is a conservative adjustment. It may not be possible to directly replace mmap() with jemalloc. because for example, jemalloc cannot mremap, which will be slower in some heavy load scenarios, and jemalloc has memory fragmentation.
