Strictly speaking, you need to rebuild or create the Doris-Cli and Doris-Agent projects rather than trying to force everything into the Doris MCP Server. The scope of a product's capabilities shouldn't keep expanding arbitrarily just because ideas or positioning shift; projects should stick to their intended functions. You can certainly build a CLI or an Agent without using MCP. For instance, if you want to use MetricFlow to build a semantic layer, you should create a MetricFlow MCP Server or a MetricFlow Agent that interfaces with Doris, rather than turning the Doris MCP Server into something unwieldy or unconventional. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
