   …large SQL statements

mysql-connector-python bundles a C extension and defaults to it (use_pure:
False). Statements larger than ~8188 bytes sent through the C extension are
corrupted in transit: Doris rejects them with drifting 'mismatched input'
errors while the identical SQL works via the mysql CLI. The pure-Python
protocol implementation is not affected.

Boundary scan (CTAS probe, 3000-9200 bytes, 2 runs each): C extension fails
at >= 8188 bytes (2013 Lost connection / connection unusable / mismatched input
with drifting position); use_pure=True passes all sizes. A 253-line dbt model
(~8.3 KB compiled CTAS) failed on every run by default and passes with this
change.
