Thanks for the formatter validation. **Build.** The report comes from master at f937d950d45 with default settings; V2 variant ingestion (the default), nothing non-default selected. The observed before/after on a live two-FE / seven-BE cluster: the same row's document text rendered `1997.6` before and `1997.6000000000001` after, with the element path unchanged at `1997.6000000000001` on both. **Added to #69219 (commit 0d3576ce47d):** `regression-test/suites/variant_p0/test_variant_double_text_roundtrip.groovy` — one VARIANT row holding `0.30000000000000004`, `1997.6000000000001`, `1997.6`, `0.1`, `123456789012345680.0` and `-2.5e-7`; the document text must carry the shortest round-trip form of each (equal to the element's own text), and `json_extract_double` over the document text must return the stored double for each, with `1997.6000000000001` and `1997.6` staying two different values. The unit test already in the PR covers the same seven doubles across the typed and encoded SerDe output surfaces, including the document case.
