Review Comment:
Thanks for the suggestion. I agree that the partition-counter requirement
belongs in request construction rather than JSON serialization.

I investigated the more targeted SDK API alternative you mentioned, so only
DROP would add the requirement and ADD/RENAME would keep their existing
concurrency behavior. A local SDK patch and Doris adaptation passed validation:
249 SDK tests passed (6 existing assumption skips), and all 354 focused Doris
tests plus Checkstyle passed. The prototype removes the ThreadLocal/custom
mapper and uses the normal SDK authentication and commit path.

The blocker to shipping this improvement is the SDK dependency: Doris
currently uses Iceberg 1.11.0, which has no explicit additional-requirements
commit API. The SDK change needs upstream review, merge and an official release
before Doris can consume it reproducibly in community CI. The eventual
dependency update also needs compatibility validation because
hive-catalog-shade embeds Iceberg/Caffeine classes. The prototype has not been
pushed to this PR; the current implementation remains unchanged. This
improvement is deferred pending that upstream work, and resolving this
discussion does not mean the architectural change has already landed.
