Dylan1312 commented on issue #6589: Maven build fails immediately after clone URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/6589#issuecomment-437087808 use -DskipTests instead of -Dmaven.test.skip I'm not sure why but the latter causes the unit test jars not to be built but the application still depends on them.
