The `valueFormatter` option is designed for the tooltip of a single series rather than the global tooltip option. The recommended usage is to set [`valueFormatter`](https://echarts.apache.org/option.html#series-line.tooltip.valueFormatter) in each series option instead of the global [`tooltip`](https://echarts.apache.org/option.html#tooltip.valueFormatter) option.
