scenerecap commented on issue #21662: URL: https://github.com/apache/echarts/issues/21662#issuecomment-5384800933
Reproduced on **echarts.apache.org** today (2026-08-23, Chromium 151, 1280×720): 1. Open `/examples/en/editor.html?c=line-stack` — the Stacked Line example loads automatically. 2. Look at the bottom of the rendered chart preview (right pane): the legend row (Email, Union Ads, Video Ads, Direct, Search Engine) is on the same baseline as the x-axis category labels (Mon–Sun). Both sets of labels are rendered at the same y position, making each partially illegible. The default `grid` config includes `containLabel: true` and `bottom: '3%'`, but the layout engine does not reserve height for the bottom legend, so it ends up sitting directly over the axis tick labels.
