Review Comment:
I’d prefer to implement credential vending in a backend-agnostic way, rather
than tying it to the current Gravitino-backed Lance namespace. That would align
better with the approach used by the Iceberg REST server and would allow
credential vending to work with other Lance namespace backends as well.
