opencoder5241 opened a new pull request, #14313:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/14313

   ### What changes were proposed in this pull request?

   Include the creation timestamp in the Iceberg view-version summary, using
the same value as timestampMillis.

   Add regression tests for repeated view definitions, Schema reuse, property
preservation and property-only updates.

   ### Why are the changes needed?

   Iceberg may reuse an equivalent historical ViewVersion when applying
AddViewVersion. Gravitino then applies SetCurrentViewVersion(-1), which fails
because no version was added in the current update.

   Fixes #14311

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

   Yes. Replacing a view with a previous definition can complete successfully.
View-version summaries now include timestamp-ms. There are no public API
changes.

   ### How was this patch tested?

   - Reproduced the failure on the original upstream implementation.
   - Verified A → B → A → B creates four versions, and another B creates a
fifth version, with separate milliseconds between repeated definitions.
   - All 125 Iceberg catalog module unit tests passed:
     ```bash
     ./gradlew :catalogs:catalog-lakehouse-iceberg:test -PskipITs
     ```
   - Module Spotless and git diff --check passed.
