Both reproduction cases from this issue are already fixed on `main` by #14433 (merged for #14432), at the Iceberg catalog wrapper call site rather than by globally mapping these exception types in `IcebergExceptionMapper`: 1. `registerTable` with a missing metadata file: `IcebergCatalogWrapper.registerTable` catches Iceberg `NotFoundException` and throws `BadRequestException` (HTTP 400; the issue accepted 404 or 400). 2. `createTable` with format-version 2 and a v3-only type: `validateTableDefinition` / `createTable` convert the resulting `IllegalStateException` (`Invalid schema for v…`) to `BadRequestException` (HTTP 400). Closing as fixed by #14433.
