jerryshao opened a new issue, #14616:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/issues/14616

   ### Version

   main branch

   ### Describe what's wrong

The health OpenAPI schema and examples in `docs/open-api/health.yaml`
use `UP`/`DOWN`, but Gravitino REST returns lowercase `up`/`down`
   for both `status` and `checks[].status`.

Lance REST also returns lowercase values, while Iceberg REST returns
uppercase values. The documentation should clearly describe these
   differences.

   ### Error message and/or stacktrace

No server error. Clients validating Gravitino health responses against
the documented enum can reject the lowercase status values.

   ### How to reproduce

   1. Start the Gravitino server.
   2. Request `GET /api/health/live`.
   3. Compare the lowercase status values with the uppercase enum and
      examples in `docs/open-api/health.yaml`.

   ### Additional context

Fix the OpenAPI enums and examples and clarify status casing in the
health, Lance REST, and Iceberg REST documentation. Preserve existing
response values to avoid breaking compatibility.
