This issue continues to be open as the intent to add this support is there, but 
it is unlikely to be started any time soon because:

# It is a much lower priority relative to other open issues.
# It is significantly more complex than almost all other open issues, including

# It is unlikely to produce a benefit significantly beyond what is currently 
provided due to Guacamole's existing acceleration layer.
