We made several tests and put the wid file in the folder with the process or in global or otherwhere in the classpath. It doesn't matter. It just depends if the workspace root you open in vscode contains the .git folder or not. Also all our developers have the same problem on Windows and Mac, at least on 10 different machines with different setups. We tried some older vscode versions but could yet pinpoint if some vscode update broke the functionality. The versions from November, December, January all show the same behavior. If we put the global wid folder in the parent folder of a git project and open that in vscode, also everything works fine. In the extension logs we can see no error.
