Kusuma04-dev opened a new pull request, #4019: URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie-tools/pull/4019
This PR adds modular, local-first release scripts for `incubator-kie-tools` packages and updates the Jenkins release pipelines to execute them. **What the Release Scripts Do:** - `scripts/release/release-all.sh`: Master script that builds and packages all KIE Tools components. - `scripts/release/release-npm-packages.sh`: Packages and publishes `@kie-tools/*` packages to the npm registry. - `scripts/release/release-vscode.sh`: Packages and publishes VS Code extensions (`.vsix`) to the Visual Studio Marketplace. - `scripts/release/release-chrome-extensions.sh`: Packages and uploads Chrome extensions to the Chrome Web Store. - `scripts/release/release-container-images.sh`: Builds, saves, and pushes container images. - `scripts/release/release-helm-charts.sh`: Packages and pushes Helm charts to OCI registries. - `scripts/release/release-github-pages.sh`: Deploys online web applications and editors to GitHub Pages. - `scripts/release/release-dev-deployment-upload-service.sh`: Builds cross-platform binaries for the Dev Deployment Upload Service. - `scripts/release/create-source-tarball.sh`: Creates the Apache-compliant source release archive. **Jenkins Pipeline Updates:** - `.ci/jenkins/release-jobs/Jenkinsfile.release-candidate`: Updated to run release scripts with `--rc`, sign artifacts (`.asc`, `.sha512`), and stage them to Apache SVN for voting. - `.ci/jenkins/release-jobs/Jenkinsfile.release-publish`: Updated to run release scripts with `--publish` using injected bot credentials and upload release assets to GitHub. - **Backups Preserved**: Kept `.backup` copies of original Jenkinsfiles (`Jenkinsfile.release-candidate.backup` and `Jenkinsfile.release-publish.backup`) to safely test and verify the new script-based flow.
