@Thebas @Rikkola Thank you for raising this point. Toni's point is a broader issue including other annotations. I agree with the direction (= `declare` should preserve its Java annotation settings unless they are explicitly overridden), and I filed https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie/issues/7185 to track it.
