   ## Description

The Drools documentation does not specify whether omitted DRL annotations
preserve or clear Java metadata. After [PR
#7186](https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie/pull/7186) aligned the classic
compiler with the executable model, the precedence policy should be documented:

   1. **DRL explicit** — If the DRL `declare` block specifies an annotation, it
takes precedence over the Java class annotation.
   2. **Java fallback** — If the DRL `declare` block omits an annotation, the
Java class annotation is preserved.
   3. **Default** — If neither DRL nor Java provides an annotation, the engine
default applies.

   ## Scope

   Update the following documentation sections:

   - [Rule Language Reference — type
declarations](https://kie.apache.org/docs/10.2.x/drools/drools/language-reference/index.html)
 — adding metadata to existing types, empty declaration before extending a Java
type
   - [Rule Engine
Guide](https://kie.apache.org/docs/10.2.x/drools/drools/rule-engine/index.html)
— property-change settings in Java or DRL

   ## Annotations covered

   `@Role`, `@Expires`, `@Timestamp`, `@Duration`, `@ClassReactive`,
`@PropertyReactive`, `@PropertyChangeSupport`

Note: `@TypeSafe` is not read from Java annotations by either model — it is
DRL-only.

   ## Context

   See [#7185](https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie/issues/7185) for the
full investigation.
