Right now, anything I touch causes the IDE to go out to lunch "Background
scanning of projects", and I can't do my day job any more, so while I'd love to
capture more data, I'm restarting now.
Judging by this, something has too many FileObjects in its data structure,
because the ide WAS quiescent, happy and had finished scanning, and now
scanning is blocking the IDE for minutes again. I can't even rename a class.
