Kevin T commented on NETBEANS-1610: ----------------------------------- Minimizing the NetBeans window will consistently reproduce the bug/behavior after doing a Ctrl+Shift+6, Ctrl-W. The behavior also returns when I click back and forth between Netbeans and other windows, and sometimes while I'm using the Netbeans window. > Constant background CPU usage > ----------------------------- > > Key: NETBEANS-1610 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1610 > Project: NetBeans > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 8.2, 9.0, 10.0 > Reporter: Kevin T > Priority: Major > Fix For: 9.0, Next > > Attachments: constant background cpu usage netbeans 9.0.txt > > > Product Version = Apache NetBeans IDE 9.0 (Build > incubator-netbeans-release-334-on-20180708) > Operating System = Windows 10 version 10.0 running on amd64 > Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_162 > Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.162-b12 > STEPS: > * Open project > * Minimize netbeans window or not have it in the foreground > ACTUAL: > Background CPU usage is constantly at 16-18%, so that my laptop fan turns > on.
