Did some code for the plugin detail page not make it?
This issue is about "failed" indication (not passed, though the changes to the
main page look nice). I do not see any indication that the jVi plugin failed
verification. It looks like verified and pending are clearly indicated. But
there is still no distinction between "no verification requested" and
"verification failed". It's probable that additional information for the failed
case would be useful, for example "wouldn't load", "crashed", "interfered with
system", or I don't know what.
Consider two use cases:
# Plugin user: I want to know about the plugin. I do not want to download a
plugin which is listed as "NetBeans compatible" and find out that is does not
even load, or causes NB to crash.
# Plugin publisher: I don't want to put my software on a site that doesn't
care about quality.
There has been no statement about the reluctance to indicate a failed status.
Perhaps if that was clarified there would be understanding or at least a
discussion.
