Steps
# Create a new Java file
# Type the following `x = 3;`
# Open Options |Font&Colors|annotations
# Select Fixable Errors in list on left
# Change the foreground to magenta
# Change background to Black
# Press Apply button
# Do not press OK
# Observed behaviour in editor is correct the line on error annotation is
black with magenta foreground
# Click Restore button
# Select Fixable Errors
# Correctly shows default colors (attachment Restore-before-apply.png)
# Press Apply button
# Select Fixable errors
# Shows changed colors (attachment Restore-after-apply.png)
