Ricky, the validation changes look good. I tested the latest pull request and
everything seems good to go and works as expected, nice work!
Would like to get this in for 0.3.0 which is wrapping up. Do you want to squash
the commits? I'm happy to do it for you when bringing your changes in, but
didn't want to step on your toes, let me know.
